I’d been looking at dancing reference. I found so may cool pics and I just had to do a sketch of this one.

Pieces of pieces #art #death
sometimes the time consuming part of the art isn’t the subject. That’s definitely the case of the piece I’ve spent a good portion of thursday on.
As you can see the piles of skulls and bones have a depth that comes from two main color families with accompanying color palates. Each base color has two depth colors to add highlights and shadows and make each item pop.
Copic markers are made for this and really blend well with each addition.
Day of the dead four seasons mouse – @furreality
This started out as a practice sketch for Fur Reality 2015.
They’re in Cincinnati Ohio and the area has four seasons. Above is the copic colored, Bristol vellum mouse and the inked sketch.
Drawing steampunk birdies #motorcityfurcon2016
these guys will be part of a larger piece eventually (where’s my darn protractor? I need circles dammit). they’re a pair of steampunk lovebirds and they’ll be back to back in front of a Zeppelin or set or gears or … Something steampunk related.
This guy is almost finished but started life as 
He’s not quite a circle, a cilander, and a jelly bean but you can probably see those now that I’ve said it.
(btw it occurred to me that all @alkali_bismuth needs to be steampunk is a few artfully places gears)
And all lovebirds need a mate so here’s another lovebird who just happens to be a girl but didn’t have to be.
More of these birds will happen later cause I think they are cute.

This little guy might be better off just going as a three tailed fox 😉
I mean who goes trick-or-treating as a three tailed fox. Totally works without the day of the dead mask. Course, who could resist this adorable masked three tailed fox.
