Happy Chinese New Year
These fu dog are watching over 2024 the year of the dragon.
Done with Copic marker on Bristol vellum each item in this piece has meaning. From the color of the buttons to the orbs the fu dogs are carrying.
Breaded Opossum
Bread pudding is made from left over bread and opossum eat berries, insects, & trash. The pair seemed meant to be.
Opossum eat the ticks that we so hate in the US. They are cuddly and fuzzy when they aren’t subject to the harsh winters of northern climates.

Finished this Dragon just in time to get him ready for IndyFurCon.
20 markers later this used the fewest markers in some time. 🙂
A well stocked coffee bar
This piece took me around a month to make. It is very large. I think it frames to 24”x20” but I’d have to double check that.
